Front spoiler lip and grill ... I want factory/style
Anybody know this ...
Can you use a 99+ Civic SI grill and front spoiler lip on a 96 Civic HB?
If not, is there another front spoiler lip available that mounts UNDER the bumper and comes in plain black plastic that is similar to Honda OEM? I think that the EX in 96-98 outside the US was available with one, but I can't find one anywhere.
Where the hell can you get one?

I dont know if they will fit but I just bought an OEM front lip for my 97 Civ EX from B.C Imports. it looks nice. Its about the same one that were on the 92-95 EX's for 80$ you cant beat that. I dont even need to paint it cause it matches the side pieces under the doors. Check them out you can get all kinds of OEM parts for Hondas from them, thier services is really good and I got my stuff in 3 days.
Good luck

Actually, you can't use the 99+ grill or bumper lip without making it look real janky.
You'll have to find like an APC typer R grill for your year...or you can shell out the $150 for the real thing...I don't recommend that though.
For the lip, you can either buy a Civic Type R lookalike or you can buy the SiR lip. I think the SiR looks better, and it doesn't look like you're riding the JDM nuts too bad.
http://www.thepartstrader.com always has this stuff...you just gotta look.

What year and where was the SiR produced? I've heard of them but never seen them. I don't know about the OEM Type-R lip, but on the "fakes" they look like they go over the bottom of the bumper cover rather than under.

I looked under 97 EX and it shows the spoiler, but there's no price and if you click the link it says the product is not found. Doh!

If you want I can send you a pic of mine on my car so you can see what it looks like. Its the one that goes under the bumper.
Heres the installation instructions for it. Install took about 30 mins no drilling is involved because the bumpers are already have the slots in it.

Awesome, they got me the quote and told me it would fit, 79 clams. That's exactly the one I was looking for. Funny thing is, I already looked at that site but I only looked under 1996 cars, and it wasn't listed. It's only listed for 97+. Yesterday I checked and saw that my bumper cover already has the slots for mounting this thing. Thanks a LOT for the help brother! I'm gonna order now!
