it is suppose to route air over your tires... create less drag.
i dont know how well it works. . . i doubt you would be able to feel any difference with it. . but if someone with personal expierence with it likes it, i would def. get it
hella JDM Bling bling [/sarcasm]

If you like it, then get it. I'm sure they provide some type of downforce on a road course or auto-x track, but for daily driving and whatnot theres no reason for it to be on there. Dont let other people's opinions sway your own style.

i think your tires are underneath your bumper and fenders so the canards wouldnt have any affect of air passage over tires. unless you have some crazy offset. canards are supposed to increase downforce in the front but on any street car i seriously doubt you will notice any difference. actually i doubt you would notice any difference on the track. also this would CREATE drage, not lower drag.

i understand that i was just wondering cause they look real agressive and i was wondering if there was any technical merit to them

Its actually for front end downforce, often used on cars that are too low for an airdam. Has nothing to do with the tires.

Basically designed to help provide extra stability in the turns, but not beneficial in straight ahead driving.

Looking for some ABS plactis ones for 3 months now. All i've found are CF for about $197-up. Saw these things brought up about a year ago(not me) an and i still feel the flames. Funny how things start out gay then turn around to be wanted.

Re: (b-powa)
i personally think they look awesome and instead of buying some body kit or **** it adds a very aggresive look to your car and have some functionality and it wouldn't be slapping them on my stock civic either . They are really easy to take on and off but you have to take your whole bumper off, not to hard for the eg at all.
