i found this del sol and i was wondering what lip this is...looks like 99-00 Si lip...it looks like a custom job..but i want to know if it really is and if fabrication can be done to make one fit on my buddies del sol..thanks..

That looks like a factory Si lip.. But its not

I believe this was posted before. It's the 99-00 Si/SiR OEM lip, custom fabricated to fit the Del Sol bumper. Basically, but in half, so make it smaller, grafted together, and then adjusted to fit the Sol. Not 100% sure though.

don't get a si lip and fabricate it. there will be gaps and overhangs on the sides and it will be to much trouble to fix them. search under B20z's group buy and get the ones he has. they are made for egs and should fit del sols with little or no problems, or if it was my choice...get the mugen style.

looks like a 92-95 civic oem lip painted.

not 100% sure, but that would be my guess.

why do you call it an EX lip its not other cars came wiht them the VX and the SI

Because it's known as the "standard" EX civic lip. Ask anyone, show them a picture of the lip and everyone will say "EX"

Si never came with them...VX did though I also believe it was optional on EX's, or maybe made standard in 94/95 (possibly)...anyways, that lip looks similar to the OEM EG lip, but the edges are too straight on the sides where it meets the fender well of the bumper. The OEM EG lip is more rounded around that area...
