No Honda suspension component is "hard" to take out. Then again, I don't know your skill level.

The biggest problem is **** breaking (bolts, mainly) where you have to do some serious drilling/sawzalling/air chiseling to get to it. Don't attempt to press your own bushings in and out. It's pretty ******* hard.

well, ive pressed my own bushing before.. with an impact hammer. it is not the best way i know, but it is much better than having no bushing (which i had before). pressing this old bushing is not a problem because the rubber is all gone (that is how bad it really is)...

but seriously, how hard is the front lca to take out? none of my suspension is seized.. as far as my skill level, i put in kyb struts, lowering springs, took them out, put in a new bushing (ghettooo), and that is pretty much it.

what is the order of removing the arm?

the reason i need to get this done is because this bushing is fuct, and i am selling the car next week.. so i dont want the next owner to have a bad alignment

the rear is so easy to take out, the front though i believe has a ball joint (correct me if i am wrong, i am just beginning as mechanic apprentice, and i am very new to cars in general) and without the right tools (other than a basic pry bar) im thinking it will be difficult to remove...

When I needed to pop the ball joints on the lower control arms, I just used a ball joint splitter (the fork looking thing) and put a 5 ft pole on it and it popped right out with ease.
COuldnt you just use one of those?

the fork looking thing is a pickle fork. it's an aluminum fork so you can pop the ball joints.

It's also quite easy to have someone put a lever between the arm and whatever it's connected to and hit the end with a sledge. A couple good whacks (don't hit the balljoint or the the pin that goes into it) and it should pop right loose. I've done this by myself, so I know it's possible and a Master mechanic told me that it wouldn't hurt anything as long as I hit the cast metal and nothing else.

Good luck.

I put teg front lcas on my old hatch, there were 3 bigass bolts connected to the subframe, one that went through it, one for the fork, and then the balljoint bolt. Pretty easy task when I used my air tools.
