front ends screwy
i have a 93 civic ex with 180000 on it. every time i hit a bump, there is a vibration in my steering wheel, it is bad enough so it yanks the wheel at the same time. i jus replaced inner tie rod ends cuz i could jack the car up and wiggle the tire some. the sound almost sounds like its under my dash where the steering rack is. the car had power steering but its not hooked up, does that have anything to do with it?? thx

Re: front ends screwy (crxricer66)
My friend works at a shop and told me once that there are/is bushing(s) in the rack assembly (Nylon or something) that wear out and cause sloppyness and noise. He says replacing them is not too hard and tightens up the rack nicely.

You should definatly check the rack bushings. I know I had the same problem that happened to be the drivers side shock. It was a KYB but the gas leaked out of it and it made the car shake and wobble uncontrolably even at low speeds
