Front Endlink Bolt Question

Front Endlink Bolt Question
I put on a GSR front sway about 3-4 weeks ago. Up until about 3-4 days ago, I noticed a "thunk" noise when I drive and hit bumps or rough road. Today I jacked up the car to see if the endlink nunts were loose. I tried tightening the top endlink nut, but it kept free spinning. Does the top nut that connects the endlink to the sway bar supposed to free spin when it's fully tightened?
If I can eliminate the areas that might cause the "thunk" noise, I can perhaps try and pinpoint where it's coming from. I also suspect my springs are making the "thunk" noise because I believe my struts are going.

lol You'll know if its broken, nothing is hidden under a boot or anything.

if the boot is torn, the "ball" might not get proper lube and will eventually fail. But u live in hawaii, there is no salt or anything like that. You could replace it, but its up to you.
