the car is actually a del sol, but it's a gsr swap with gsr axles. i'm thinking the axles are actually the problem. the front end started shaking today while i was driving home from my tuner's. it shakes any time i get over 40ish. i also notice a clicking noise while decelerating, similar to what you would expect while turning with a bad cv joint. HOWEVER, i dont get this noise while turning.
what do you think my problem is?

i said "could be" for the shaking and its very likely its thatbut maybe not . im my experiances that been what the problem was most of the time

^^ has no idea what he is talking about. Those symptoms are not even related to balljoints. Wheel balance is a hell of alot of a closer stab than balljoints.

on it being the inner cv's. Happens alot on swaps.

Oh yeah, Tatmark, good guess. It was definately a possibility.

Balljoints vibrate more than shake. And it becomes worse on corners.

i am having the same dilemma, my hatch is shaking during accelleration, even if i am babying it. i am going with the axles too, like the original poster did.
