front bumper falling off/too low in the snow/acting as a snow plow
1998 civic ex. yeah, so i'm driving in the snow yesterday and i hit a little patch of snow that was higher than my front bumper. the passenger side bolt that holds the bumper on via the fender fell off, and it took the metal mounting piece with it, as well as a nice chunk of fiberglass and metal from both the bumper and the fender.
even if i replace the mounting bracket and bolt, there is no where to bolt the bumper onto the fender because of the damages done. it was mildly rusted before this happened, so i'm guessing that the snow was enough force to just break it free.
what, if anything, would you guys suggest as a temporary solution to keep my bumper from bouncing around and potentially falling off? if it does get ripped off somehow, it's gonna most likely take my intercooler and charge pipes along with it.
12 gauge wire? epoxy? the bumper and fenders are both getting replaced in the spring, so it doesnt have to be perfect.

that sucks man! my 93 coupe apparently had this problem before i got it and someone permanently attached a tow bar looking thing acting as a shelf to hold my bumper...serves as good rabbit killer...i guess

lol... this thread got resurrected from oblivion...
i welded another breacket onto the fender where the old one was, primed/painted it and bolted it back up. it's fine now, but i still can't be plowin' peoples driveways!
