friend's '93 civic coupe.....
has problems starting....radio comes on...he said he got a tune up at the beginning of the year....what else?.....he says he needs to pump on the gas pedal a few times to try and start it.....could it be the starter or the fuel system? thanks.

if its the fuel, you will hear a turn over but no start. if its the starter there will be only a click. check the fuses first. and if its manual, remember, u need to press on that little pedal to start (its called the clutch pedal fyi)
