Fresh GSR swap was fine now DEAD
I just got my gsr running yesterday. it was running fine and i was completly happy. about 2 miles down the road it back fires and dies. I get it to start back up and take it back to the shop. now the timing belt has a lot of slack on one side and is tight on the other. i had it running again last night in the shop and when it started it didnt sound like it was running on all cylinders but after a few seconds it sounded fine. I go to move it this morning and nothing. it is getting fuel and spark and it will turn over fine but thats it it doesnt do anything but turn over it doesnt sound like its firing. it wounds like either its not sparking or there is no fuel but it is getting both. so i started thinking maybe its out of time but even out of time it should still fire. any ideas the only thing i have done to the motor is took off the valve cover to get it painted and took off the black plastic piece under the valve cover that covers the timing belt.
any thoughts or ideas are appreciated.
