Default Fresh body kit

I'm lookin towards to get a new bodykit for my car.. but not one of those body kits with extra plastic everywhere. Just a nice simple fresh look from my oem bumpers, anyone got some good suggestions?

AS IN:

too much glam, looks wicked retarded.

but more on the lines of:

http://www.andysautosport.com/images...c_cw_front.jpg
which isnt too bad imo

care to elaborate?

what car? year? how much are you looking to spend?

And isn't the point of a body kit to have pointless plastic everywhere that doesn't flow with the bodylines of a car whatsoever?

not really, i've seen cars in my area with body kits/ even just the front bumper which looked really clean compared to the ricey kits i see everywhere in vegas x.x

96 EK Coupe, moneys no problem really.. i'll probably limit it to about $500-$1,500.

ok just saw your edit with examples.

first one is butt ****ing nasty ugly.

second one isn't bad looking, but would probably look a bit off without the rest of the kit.

i agree, the fitment of those are spot on compared to the hit or miss fitment of some of these other cheap quality kits.

my only complaint with the BYS is that it looks kinda weird without a giant front mount to fill it in.

going back and looking at the pics again, you're right.

they're both really bad looking, look at the fender/bumper alignment in the second one. and that's the example they are using to sell the product? that should tell you something right there if you can pick out major flaws in a 2"x2" 2 dimensional picture imagine what the real one is gonna be like.

Second one you posted is a C West replica. Its ok. Im not a big fan of the BYS. Personally an (OEM) Si-R lip or Type R lip is the best. Not to mention way cheaper and less body work to do. And OEM fitment and quality. Save the money for maintenance or tires + suspension.

yea i've considered one, they look nice.
but im lookin for an all-new look for my car, if i ever decide i dont want to spend $200-$800 on the BYS, i'll go for the lip/99-00 conversion

To be honest man, I would stick with no body kit, If i were you i would just get the 99-00 Front end conversion, put some sick yellow fogs in, and then get a type R lip. Looks waaaaaay better then a body kit.
