FREE K SERIES SWAP
.........Well kinda..........
Because Omaha/Lincoln area seems to be lagging behind on the K swaps, i am going to make an offer for enough "sponsorship" for free labor to do a K swap into an EK, EG or DC2. Right now HA Sport only makes them for those applications, and since i know they make a quality part i will stick w/ only that option for now.
I talked w/ HA Sport today and got some prices, I am listing retail, but will most likely offer a VERY discounted price to whoever decides to do the swap.
Mount kit (EG/EK/DC2) $639
Wire harness conversion $350 (this is something that may or may not need to be done, i am going to look into doing the wiring myself, but as of yet havn't found a lot of info on it)
Axles Stage 1 225 WHP max $379
.........Stage 2 400 WHP max $699 --- recomended
Entry level header $375ish and should be available in 2-3 weeks, there are much better headers on the market, but at half the price this should help to cut initial costs of the swap down.
Now that everyone is all excited to do the swap, here is the bad part WE are ONLY OFFERING LABOR, all the parts, and the car are your responsibility. Average K Swap runs around $8000 in parts. We will not accept just anybody, and any car, i would like a nice car, that can be shown after the work is completed. Right now the plan is to take applications for cars until October 1st. I will edit this post w/ complete details soon, but wanted to get the idea out there.
The shop willing to do this is located in Omaha Nebraska they can be reached at 402-334-0319..basically were tired of california havin all the fun and this would be the first Kseries swap done in this area..probably in the entire state of nebraska

hhahaa yeah, you are right about california, we just finished dropping our k motor into our eg.... it was pretty straight forward if you are using hasport mounts, if you dont line up the mounts up right and bolt up the right bolts first, your gonna think that the mounts dont line up, but just follow the instructions and everythign is as easy as doinga b seires swap...
