Free AEM Intake!
Hello everyone,
AEM is looking for 96-00 hybrid civics for intake development. The only criteria are:
1) The vehicle must be naturally aspirated
2) The intake manifold and throttle body must be stock
3) The vehicle must be located in the Los Angeles area
The vehicle will only be needed for three days at the most and will not be driven anywhere other then our shop. In exchange for your help AEM will provide you with a free AEM CAS intake. If interested please contact Jon at jgleason@aempower.com
Thanks for your help,
Jon

Any preference on body style? I know my hatch (and all other hatches) don't have the hole cut out for the intake to go down into the bumper. Just a thought.

And wouldn't a "hybrid" '00 Civic coupe be a stock Si (unless of course you limit the search to B18C1's with the different TB placement)?

I didn't even know there were 96-00 hybrid-electic Civics....
I'll be willing to bet he means "as in engine swaps"

They certainly did have a natural gas-powered Civic. It was the Civic GX y0!

Re: Free AEM Intake! (Luserkid)
We already have the earlier cars done. The kits will be released in about a month. The Civic SI intake goes through the hole in the fender, however we want to design the hybrid intake to go next to the frame rail.

Dang, I thought that the GX was only a 01+ model for some reason. I was amazed by it when my parents went and bought a new 01 Accord.
