Theyre studs

Go to the hardware store, buy a narrow drill bit for hard metal (not so thin that it snaps...) and an EZ out (I want to say its numer 2).
Drill a hole in the bolt and then use the EZ out to extract the stud.

Since EZ outs are reverse threaded, when you screw it in (to the left, not right) its removing the stud at the same time.

Its very easy! You can do this!
Then, you just need to replace the stud. You can use a stud/nut combo again, or just a bolt...but Id go with a stud/nut again.
