no name ebay pars are ALWAYS a gamble. But it looks just like one I bought off of a guy(eskay I think is his username) on here and I have been very happy with it so far. IMO a muffler is a muffler, so if you want it get it.

Here's the link to the page of the guy selling it, has vid clips w/ sound as well as pics of it installed/modified to be on different cars and many vouches for being a good quality product, if you'd rather not take a gamble I'd reccomend this or if you only need a 2.25" muffler go with the OBX twin loop (sounds very similar to the one I have except it's slightly smaller)

Its definately a pos not to say it wont serve its purpose but dont expect any power out of it. Probably just an annoying sound. You get what you pay for.

don't quote me but I believe the twin loop acts as a silencer...so I've been told when I bought mine.

It is a universal muffler...Not a direct bolt on. Definitely a knock off...But hey, it's hella cheap!

It basically acts as 2 mufflers in one because it goes through twice. Which is why I'm able to have a B16 with all the boltons and 2.5" mandrel exhaust with that muffler being the only source of quieting things down and the volume still being very tolerable.

Hrm, I've been wondering what's the god's honest truth about exhaust systems vs e-bay names...My N1 was a fart can....it's like a rocket, you can make somebody deaf w/ one of those, rediculously loud, rediculous ammounts of speeding tickets - I sold it, I bought a fireball catback for 50 bucks from a guy who totalled his car (the same night he totalled it too, think he was thinkin straight when I bought it from him) - a friend of mine wanted one that sounded jsut like it, but he said he didn't wanna pay, so I told him to just buy a replica on e-bay, so he bought it, I welded the reducer pipe on 'n all started up his car (he has the same engine, but in a 4 dr sedan (D16Z6)) - sounds EXACTLY the same, up and down the road, sounds EXACTLY like mine...

Mine isn't a replica..

So what's teh difference between a 400 dollar exhaust system and a 35 dollar tip? The power gain just b/c it's a full catback? Well what happens if u straight pipe widened to an e-bay tip? It's the same thing basically..

Anybody else figure this out, I'm dying to know :-\

hytech full exhaust(if your a super baller) - 1500(comes with everything though, even the header)

I have a Ractive Twin Loop I bought for a $100, although I wouldn't recommend it because the way the hangers are designed the twin loop actually rests right against the underside and vibrates.

As for the ebay ones they are universal and therefore don't come with any hangers, so you would have to make some of your own, and if it's real stainless steel good luck welding those on...no exhaust shops around me were able to weld them on.

It's "4" Hugh Exhaust Tip"

But, in the picture, it looks more than 4" long.

muffler is a muffler, if its a bootlegg n1 its going to sound the same as an n1...loud and raspy. thats a twinloop it'll sound the same...

they keep the same style/blueprint on how they're made...its not like the metal is making the difference. or color

actually ive seen three different versions of the twinloop... mufflers were totally different.

and Im willing to bet that crappy carboy muffler has nothing on a mugen-built twinloop
