99-00 honda civic fender i have both left and right oem 50.00 each brand new never install black

I have a maroon-red 99 4D Civic. The fender I have on it pretty dented in and I need to replace it and this one is OEM. Is the price right and will it look really bad having two black fenders on a red car?
Thanks, I'm suppose to call him back. He just got off work.

make sure its fenders for a 4dr, itll most likely be flat black not glossy black, and make sure they are indeed from honda and not from certifit, certifit doesn't line up perfectly, at least on eg's. it looks tacky, but having black parts is better than blue or any other color other than maroon.

All '96-'98 Civic coupe, hatch and sedan fenders are the same.
All '99-'00 Civic coupe, hatch and sedan fenders are the same.
It does not matter if these fenders are for a sedan or not. They're not "for" any particular body because they're all the same.
If they're primered you will want to paint them before they go on the car. Nothing like water seeping into the porous primer and rusting the parts from the inside out.
The price is okay, but you can probably find them also on http://car-part.com painted for a similar price.

are you sure because i was looking for fenders for my 00 civic 4dr and everywhere i went they were telling me the 4dr and 2 dr are different. i some how got the wrong ones so i dont know what [freak]ing model they are for, they line up just short of where mine are supposed to be so either they are for a 2 door or they are 96-98???

they must have been for a '96 - '98. While i'm sure NOFX has been wrong before I can't say i've ever seen it happen. Not only that but this is fairly well documented info.

The certifit might be a good option, and you say primer black? Does that mean I "NEED" to get it painted or it will rust. Or it just looks like it's a primer black but it's actually already painted.
Dumb question I know.
EDIT:
I just called them. Apparently, it's like a flat black and all it has is a rust inhibitor on it. Can I put it on and just drive with it?

If it was me i'd paint it, Just spray bomb it to match the car if you can't afford to get it professionally painted right now.

Re: (HeirApparent)
no you dont need to paint it. i wont rust. the civic in my pic has a hood from there (my dad backed over my car a few times with his truck. dont ask) i had 3 of these hoods and never painted them. they do fade after about 6 months tho so i do recommend painting it sooner or later. i say just spray paint it black and clear coat it. go to advance auto or something and get some cheap paint. and before i forget it wont come with the rubber strip on the front of the hood.
