Default Fool the comp

I have a 97 civic lx that no longer has the cat on it. I have heard that you can fool the computer into thinking the o2 sensor is reading the correct a/f mixture, but I don't know how. Does anyone know the easiest and cheapest way to do this?

I hope you're not thinking no cat will give you a performance gain on a nearly stock engine. If anything, you're losing power and gas mileage w/check engine light on. I would assume the cel is on and that's why you want to "fool" the ecu.
