Hey guys well today i went out and all of a sudden i was accelerating through 1st gear and i hear a weird noise in the engine...then it stoped after i shifted...then it does it again and again on the way home...its in the transmission and sounds like i slight scraping or grinding noise but its smooth...the car runs great but its that noise. me and my buddy thought it was the engine but turns out its the tranny...at an idle it stops when my foots on the clutch but then its in neutral at idle it starts to knock real fast when i take my foot off the clutch like the way a bad piston rod sounds??? but yea its starting to do it a little more in 2nd now too and when i downshift it gets real loud. the noise sounds like maybe something with the teeth on the flywheel..at least thats what i think...oh and its a d series with a stage 1 exedy kit...well any opinions or ways to fix this??? thanks guys...

pull off the tranny and check, better to be safe then sorry.

i had that same sound on my d series eg now its a loud loud knock &gt;.&gt;

been going for bout 600+ miles now still moving

getting my gsr in the next week or 3 =O
