flyhweel install. now whirring noise
car= 94 civic ex
engine= h22a
tranny= m2b4
just installed a 8lb fidanza flyhweel. used old exedy clutch and pressure plate. replaced pilot bushing and throw out bearing.
on deceleration there is a whirring noise. the higher the rpm to an extent the more audible the noise.
never had the noise before the flywheel install. everything was tightened to spec.
only thing wrong with the tranny is the shift fork or something for reverse is bent and its hard going into reverse.
anyone had problems with aftermarket flywheels causing noises??? thanks for the help

Could be the throw out bearing. Try driving it so you reproduce the sound and then put light preasure on the clutch pedal. If the sound goes away while pressing clutch, culprit found.

replaced the throw out bearing when i changed the flywheel.
if i remember correctly the noise will go away when you press the clutch in while decelerating.

I'm not saying the throw out bearing is bad, just that it may be whats making the noise. Sometimes you can get one that makes a little noise. If you push on the pedal and the noise goes away its most likely the tb
