Flucuating idle searched and maybe not aicv this time
I have no fitv just in case thats the first thing someone says .
I cant find out whats wrong here , i unplugged all vacuum lines from the intake manifold (victor x ) and plugged them , disconnected the aicv and set the idle with the screw on the throttlebody cable wheel and toatally blocked off the internal idle screw on the TB , so nothing else can modify the idle , but yet it still goes up and down but only every couple of seconds or so , not the typical up down up down . The only thing else that could maybe be causing would be losing fuel pressure every couple seconds? or maybe the thermostat isn't opening and these 2 things maybe putting a slight load on the engine? When it does the slight idle surges i can hear maybe a small miss /pop in the exhaust . Could timing be a problem here , like the distributor maybe advanced too much or something ? Btw the flucation only seams to be 200-500 rpm increments and i cant the idle below 1000 to easy Sorry about the big runon sentences .
