flame thrower kits on 92-95 civic

thanks for the help

If you do it with your existing muffler, eventually it'll burn it out. I planned on welding on an off pipe from somewhere near the cat so that all it was was piping going straight out. It's not that hard to install, requires some drilling and wiring. Autoloc has a kit. Good luck.

lol. There was a ricer that should up to this one local weekly car show that well draws a bunch of ricers. Anyways, he had one of these. He started to do it, and the thing was SO fucking loud when it fired. Basicly sounded like a gun shot. The thing is, the way it's designed, its SO Bad for the engine. Basicly what it does is you press this one button while reving the engine to like 4 grand, then it opens a valve the detours the fuel to this flame thrower thing, and then it's so rich, that it ignights just from the hot exhaust pipes/exhaust. Yea taking away fuel from the engine for a few seconds at a time is real smart. Great way to lean the engine out and cause detonation.

drunknbass 08-02-2004 11:52 PM

no what it did, at least the hot rod kits. would kill 2 spark plugs and flood the engine so there would be fuel going into the exhaust. and then there would be a spark plug in the exhaust that was spliced off a cyl that would spark and pop fireballs out

.BigSexy 08-03-2004 12:57 AM

hmmmm my car shots flames, TURBO FLAMES, i liked it, i dunno if i would have done it on a stock civic or anything, but my 1995 talon tsi (fully built and all the dsm tricks) would shoot flames all over the interstate. so maybe u should just turbo ur car and make it run very rich like i did. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif
