Default Fixed brake line, bled the system, brakes still spongy

I have a 1999 Honda Civic SiR. I fixed a brake line about a month ago and after bleeding the brakes at all four wheels in the proper order several times over, my brakes are spongy unlike before.

I left it for a couple weeks as I wanted to replace my rear calipers. I replaced the calipers and bled all four wheels again. After bleeding them well, absolutely no air is coming out or going in. Why are my brakes still spongy? Of course when the line went the fluid in the master cylinder bottomed out. Can there be air stuck in the master cylinder still? Ive bled them so many times over and after several weeks if there was air in the master cylinder wouldnt it make its way to the wheels after driving so long? Do I need to bleed the master cylinder? Can I do it without taking it off?

Thanks

Is master cylinder holding any pressure, if not MC could be bad. Prop valve can also be bad also.

Possibly, but its too much of a coincidence that it was fine before the line broke and then spongy after fixing the line.

For me, my master cylinder was leaking internally. Fluid would eventually leak out (around where the brake booster and MC are bolted together).

I replaced the MC with a new one, and works fine.

check your vaccum from your intake to your booster. mine had i cut in it at one point and did the same thing. also swap out your check valve in the line with a known good one and see what it does. i just had this problem. hope this is useful.
