Default Fitment question about 17x9 +35

Thinking about running 17x9 with a +35 offset.
was wondering if they will rub at all, and what if i got some spacers, whould that help with the rubbing? if so how big?
98 ex coupe
tire size will most likely be 235/40 or 245/40. any ideas thanks.

Thats a huge wheel for such a small car 17s are pushing it on an 6th gen but 9 inches wide is not doable its way to wide for the car. Spacers would not help with rubbing as they would still rub in the fender wells. frankly those wheels are alot of rotational engery getting lost in the wheels i would say 16 x7 would be ideal for a civic of that year

yeah those will fit i had that size on my car for a while with out rubbing problems it just took away some of the tq vs running my SI wheels aslong as you get light 17s then you should be in the clear. usually 235 or 245 series tires are well over 150 to 200 bucks a piece. my buddy has an evo 9 and is running yokohama advan tires and his whole set was around 800 i belive they were 235 series for all four wheels.. then again its an evo haha
