Fitment of a DC2 Strut Bar onto an EG Chassis
My friend is parting out his DC2 and has 2 Spoon strut bars and i want to pick them up for my EG. Im assuming they fit since a lot of people use OEM DC2 strut bars on their EG's. Can anyone confirm this? Thanx

Yes they'll fit. Though you might have to find some studs to fit through the holes so that you can lock it in place with some nuts. You'll see how it is and what you need to get when you put them on though. Sorry for the bad description.

I used the OEM Gsr's as an example.. I am picking up Spoon strut bars... Does anyone have any experience with these bars being swapped?

all spoon bars for eg, ek, and dc/db's are the same bars.
I had one...sold it (well traded) I was not impressed initially or in the long run. Pivot points on a strut bar ruins the whole concept

i believe depending on what model eg you have, you might have to drill holes for the front strut bar. there should be a circle template on the shock tower area so you know exactly where to drill. someone correct me if i'm wrong.

You're correct for the GSR OEM bar. I think the Spoon mounts to the shock bolts.

that's correct. there's a guide/tutorial on someone doing this...he had to drill into his shock towers to mount an ITR front strut bar, which i ASSUME has the same mounting points as the DC2 bar.
either way, why not test fit the bars since he's your friend?
