fit motor in del sol?
I was wondering. I don't want turbo, its just not my personal style. I wanted to go supercharger, and the only one I saw worth getting imho was the jackson racing one made at kraftworks. They have 2 for honda motors, the K series, which for me is WAY to expensive (swap) and the honda fit.
So, what motor is in the honda fit? (1.5l manual)
Has it been done yet?

Re: fit motor in del sol?
Why not just do a d16 with supercharger or a b16 with supercharger... Those would be easier on the checkbook, and can still be smog legal.

Re: fit motor in del sol?
well, the old school jackson racing supercharger would go on that no? The new one is rotrex and produces WAY more power....
Edit: also the d16 superchargers are hard to come by?
http://www.importparts.com/shop/shop...acturers_id=30
and that's if that's a legit site.... and legit price.....

The Fit has an L15 which is a 1.5L. As for this swap you are thinking of, no one to my knowledge has done it.
Just for curiosity sake, why would you want to swap a Fit L15 into a Del sol when there are so many other options out there?
B-series have a great supercharging system from Jackson Racing also not to mention D-series are quite capable. Plus these motors are relatively easy to swap into your Del Sol and are proven.

Re: fit motor in del sol?
question would then be, where to find a credible website known to not be fake and sell a JRSC for a d16z6...?
or other super charger kits....

It's not that hard, check Ebay or let me make it super easy for you.. GOOGLE it!
Check out Moss Motors/ Superchargers.com....
Do you want me to search the internet for you too?
Buy a used one, send it in to be refurbished to new factory specs, and bam! New supercharger with zero miles!
Also it's really hard to "fake" a JRSC system....

superchargers are lots of $ for not that much power. For the money, you'd be better off doing a B series swap if you won't turbo. I'm not a huge fan of turbos, but they are the best way of making power on an import
