First time at Drag Strip! my times, cars, etc.
Runs---------------1. ------------------- 2.--------------------3.-------------------4.
Reaction----------.996 ---------------- 1.012-------------- .896 ----------------.973
60 Ft.-------------2.387----------------2.374---------------2.410----------------2.450
1/4 ET------------15.839--------------15.836--------------15.915---------------16.162
1/4 mph----------86.73----------------86.71---------------86.04----------------84.93
Its a 92 vx with b18b with CAI and running open stock header and dp and running on stock 13" alloys with stock rubber. Altitude is a little more than 4k i think and it was the mid afternoon in NM.
lots of cars out there. small import presence, but it was the first time they had an import class out there. fastest import was a 5th gen hatch with a 1.8(wouldnt give me specs), turbonetics t3/t4(didnt know specs) says he was pushing 13lbs and his best time was a 12.55@112. he wouldnt even pop the hood to show me. keep in mind it was damn hot too and the altitude we are at. nice fast hatch.

60 fts are ok, your reaction times need serious work tho....at least .6's is wat you should be gettin. but keep shootin for the .5's

well if you do the math correctly, i thought the reaction time would make a difference, little or small. does the timer begin when you leave the line of when the timer starts? call me crazy but i thought it was when the timer starts.

no it doesnt make a diff. you could wait at the light for 5 mins and u would get the same time if u pulled a .5 reaction time. the time starts when your tires start moving. it makes no difference... once again NO difference..

yeah my r/t suck, but i didnt care too much about that. suprised about the 60 ft times. thought they were pretty decent for 1000000 treadwear tires that are 5" wide. this track is about .6 slower than other tracks here in NM. in Roswell my friend with his markviii ran about that(.6) faster and thats roughly the same altitude and they run there at night too. so sea level on a nice track i think id net pretty good times. i was launching at around 2.5-3k on those tires and feathering till they grabbed, that seemed to work the best. the last run i did i was racing a buddy of mine and i didnt feather it and i just spun to redline.
