First things to do to a Sol...
What would be the first things to do to a '96 Sol Si? I know suspension is said to be the FIRST thing to do to these cars since they've got lower structural rigidity due to the targa top. My plans are to eventually do an H2B swap, but no drag or road racing; simply DD. Opinions and expertise, please, chime in

Re: (2wheelhunter)
Take a look at it, drive it the way it is for a while, and if there seems like any part of it that needs work, (handling, power, response, look), do what you think would be good. Take a look around, and see if there's a look you may want to adapt some of if you see fit, but I'd suggest you make sure that it's your style you're applying, and not someone else's.

Re: (paolosy21)
I think it just has factory audio so, yes, it will have to be upgraded VERY soon. Also detailing is spot on! Clean car FTW! My tastes seem to fit right up there with the majority of H-T, so I think I'm safe going with suggestions here

Oh yeah, that car looks like it could benefit from a decent detail. I'd recommend you use a glaze on it too, especially since it's black. The paint looks decent from here. Just needs a good detail.
Definitely lower it though. And check the targa seal. I've heard of issues wiht them leaking. del Sol people could help you more on that though. I have a 6G, so I haven't experienced that issue.

Re: (MAX PAYNE)
I just bought my del Sol a month ago. I have added adjustable coilovers, a new Alpine HU, and wheels so far. Of course, the car is a 93 s model with automatic and no AC, so a swap is inevitable. For now, it is cheap and efficient transportation though. If I want to go fast, that is what the AP2 is for.

Wing will probably be removed. It just reminds me of a 2x4 attached with blocks e.e Probably one of the worst to ever come from Honda. Now I think i've got a working priority list:
1 - Detail and minor cosmetics.
2 - Audio System
3 - Wheels/Tires
4 - Suspension
5 - Paint (what color???)
6 - Engine/Exhaust
Sound good?

Re: (J.D.M)
I've finally got the car sitting in my driveway
I must say, I feel this car was a STEAL at $3,000!
'96 del Sol Si with only 103k on the clock. The car is as near MINT as I've EVER seen for a Sol. All the plastics are free of stains or blemishes and the seats are CLEAN! No grinds in the transmission, steering is tight and no deviation. The car has been repainted, though, but by owners preference (not to cover anything) and looks to be a lower quality than I'd prefer After the wax and polish today it does look right nice though until I can get a nice HOK job . It was originally white and he went for a metallic black. I just came back from getting it detailed, but it's a little too dark out to take pics so I'll hope to have some posted tomorrow in the del Sol owners club thread in the appropriate forum. What I did notice, however, was the tires are in DIRE need of replacement and the car also needs it's 100k service. Aside from that, it's DAMN nice +_+ With my revised priority list, do you all think I'm on the right track?

Car drives like it's on a straight 'n' even rail, though I will take your advice and have this looked at as well during the 100k service.
Anyone recommend shin etsu for the seals?
