Icon6 first honda EVER need help

ok so this is my first honda EVER, i need ideas on a build and what i can and cant do with non v-tec and v-tec engines. i have only driven muscle cars in the past so this car really needs to start having some kick to it as the build goes along. since i dont really know about honda engines i need some help so hopefully u guys can offer some ideas.
i posted some pics of my honda check it out and tell me what you think.

PAST CARS: 78 Chevrolet Monte Carlo stock 305 engine/98 Chevrolet Camaro z28 stock ls1 w. bolt ons/85 Chevolet Camaro z28 original 305 T.P.I

Read all the FAQs in this section as well as the other sections (like the wheel and tire section, paint and body section, general tech section). If you actually take the time to read most of those articles, you should be good to go on basic Honda knowledge.

im more of a guy that likes to start from the inside out lol so i dont really like to worry about body work or interior at the time.

well i checked the engine and its a d15b2 so is there anything i can do to that engine to give it some kick while i get my money together to swap it and if it would be a good idea to swap my auto transmission to manual transmission.

how much money would it run me for a transmission swap and wich would be the best transmission to put in there because i know ill have to swap it when i do the engine swap right?

Cost? Don't know the going rate in your area (where ever that is). Get the EX transmission.

Unless the swap is going to be done in the far suture I would just leave it stock for now and put the money towards the swap. Even swapping the transmissions you'll still be slower than an Odyssey.

IMO leave the engine/tranny alone, save money, get good gas mileage while saving money, upgrade suspension if u are wanting to swap in alot more power. Also I second the suggestion to read the FAQs.

well the swap will be sometime by the end of this year someone told me to drop in a b18 or something like that but like i sayd i dont know about the engines.what about ecu's can i put like a vtec ecu on the engine i have now?

the vtec is variable valve timing, and it depends on what engine you get, not the ecu. although an ecu swap will be necessary for a b18 swap.
