First Car EJ6
Got it for my 16th birthday.
I have only put some 15' drag dr-16
I really don't know what to do next probably lower it but the only problem the area i live in the driveways and what not is high af so its gonna be hard to drive around in a slammed car.(Its is an Auto parents wanted to get me a a Auto for my very first car 17th birthday will be a Stick, they said this is just my practice car, whatever tho)
Some photoshop i did
I was thinking about buying an N1 Style Exhaust but i was thinking if it was too loud cause i don't want it too be hella loud but it is heard and it sounds good, if you guys have any suggestions post it up.

Re: First Car EJ6
Not a fan of red DR16 or GT3. But the car looks good. I would love to have a black hatch. Consider yourself lucky to have one. If the car runs good I would just keep it and swap to a manual in the future or do engine swap. Skip the loud N1 exhaust and go with something like Apexi WS2. Much quieter, looks better.

Ahaha yeah they are. But i usually just read whatever i can then its all up to the person to use the brain. But putting on the lip isnt hard there should be some drilled holes and all that so its kind of common sense to put it on. But like i said its pretty easy

Re: First Car EJ6
you will need:
-Pedals
-Gearbox
-Shift linkage
-Clutch/pp/flywheel/throutbearing/etc..
-Both std trans mounts, back is not needed.
-96-98 ecu
-Gauge cluster(if you dont wanna see p/r/n/d/d3/d2/d1
-Slave cylinder/master slave cylinder/clutch lines
Your lucky the mount on your pass frame rail dosent need to be changed,i have a 94 civic and had to chop mine off and put a manual one on.You only have to drill two holes. They are where your shifter comes up through your floor. Your best bet is to find a 96-98 civic thats wrecked and pick at it until you got what you need with everything ready to install. You can do it on a weekend easily.
hope this helps. You will aslo need to cover up the holes in your floor where you went from auto/manual and run reverse lights along with safety neutral...To be safe lol

Re: First Car EJ6
you will also need a shift boot and ecu.You actually dont need an ecu but you need to either take your p/r/n/d/3/2/1 bulbs out so they wont flicker in front of you and give ya a seizure.

Re: First Car EJ6
i wouldn't be able to tell you.My car has never seen a garage besides inspection and thats was almost 3 year ago.If you can turn a wrench and have a computer by your side you will have next to no trouble doing this on a weekend.Besides if you buy a parts car.As you take the 5spd swap off that you will get the general idea on how it goes back. You can also use your auto axles for your 5spd.Theyre the same.

Re: First Car EJ6
Just peice your swap together.By the time your next birthday rolls around, and with some more reasearch and hands on experience. You would have the knowlege of how to do it.Theyres time i wish i lives in the us just to help people out.
