Default finishing motor swap wiring harness ??

i am finishing puting in my b16a sir2 i have a 99 civic ex. im pretty sure i can use my factory d16y8 harness however a bunch of it was hacked up from the prior owner so i just want to buy a new harness i ive invested alot into it and dont want a wiring harness giving me headaches down the road so im replacing it with an ucut one. my question is should i buy another y8 harness or change to an obd1 engine harness because the engines obd1.so i dont got to buy injector clips and the obd2-obd1 connector cause im running hondata with an obd1 p28. just wondering whats my best option?

If you're running an OBD1 ecu and an OBD1 motor, you might as well use an OBD1 harness.

*2 Cents*

I can't remember off the top of my head if VSS work cross-OBD.
