finished pulling my head no carbon on one piston ????
Ok today I pulled my head and one of my 4 pistons has no carbon build up whatsoever on it ?? my intake manifold has sludge on them??
Do you guys think that the fuel injector for that cypinder wasnt working?
the car was over heating a bit before all this happened then when i hit the gas the temp would go back to narmal really quick not gradually butr then the last time i was driving the car just spudered and then it just over heated the gauge wouldnt go down for shyt .
so now i pulled the head so think that the injector was bad since who knows when
also can i go ahead and clean the manifold up where the sludge is or do i have to get anew intake assembly??
anyhelp wou;d be apreciatted
thanks

My guess is your head gasket was leaking into that one cly causing it to "steam clean" that one piston and cause a overheating problem.
