Default Finding the right bolt.

So the two bolts that hold on the bottom section of the front bumper are stripped/all jacked up.

I think it's #20 on this list.

http://www.hondaautomotivepart...UMPER

Any help would be appreciated.

Just trying to confirm so I don't get the wrong bolt at $3 each.

I checked in my haynes and the back/front bumper has two screws that are next to each side clip on either end of the bumper... Those are generic screws (5 X 20). It's the exact same size screw that hold on the front bumper ends though..

There are 4 bolts that connect the rear/front bumper beam to the absorber, which connects tothe back bumper. That bolt is: 12 X 1.25MM (40 lbl-ft)

Then seven special clips..

Darn, too late!; but those bolts are the same for the front..

Can anyone else confirm? If the hardware store doesn't have it, i'm going to need to order the bolt. So If you think it is or isn't the one I think it is, please, chime in.

I do, because I'm concerned about stripping the hole.

I know, I checked my Honda body manual ( best you can get ) and its a 5x20. If worse comes to worse, size it up at the hardwear store.

Did you look at part 20 on the link I posted? It clearly holds on the bumper cover.

There's ONLY TWO bolts that hold on the entire bumper cover that are on the bottom side under the frame.

Right. But the bumper spilts into pieces as you can see, but if your talking about the bumper as a whole... # 20 would be what your looking for. I am sure of it.

When I took my bumper off it had 10mm bolts with the metal washers. The rest were the usual plastic screws/fasteners.

Errr... Ended up being $20 for the two bolts after shipping and a "handling" fee.

So I'm just going to visit my local dealer or order some from a hardware store.
