Finding JDM b16a2 parts
Maybe I'm blind but I've been searching for parts for a b16a2 jdm engine from a 95 civic sir. All I find are parts for 99 and up si's the usdm ones. Specifically I'm trying to find a clutch kit but I keep constantly finding usdm after market parts.
Again here's the specifics on the engine I'm trying to find parts for...
95 Civic SiR DOHC Vtec (b16a2) JDM
it's going into a 95 civic coupe not that matters...

Re: Finding JDM b16a2 parts (b0park)
You'll be searching a long time since there's no such thing.
If you're buying parts for a second gen B16, buy them for a Del Sol VTEC. A crapload of parts are compatible with all B-series engines.

You just proved his point. There is NO such thing as a JDM B16A2. The B16A2 is a USDM 96-97 Del Sol VTEC and 99-00 Civic Si engine.
You'll be getting a second generation JDM B16A, in which case you buy parts for the 94-95 Del Sol VTEC model that had a B16A3 in it.

There is no such thing as a JDM B16A2 jdm engines dont have a number at the end.
i.e. I have a 2nd Gen B16 from a 95 SiR, and its a B16A.
maybe revise your search a little and you'll probably find what you want. Why don't you get and aftermarked clutch and flywheel if your going to the trouble anyway.

Re: Finding JDM b16a2 parts (JDMallTHEway)
I'm sorry I should of mentioned that I AM looking for an aftermarket clutch kit. I'm actually looking for exactly what you have which is an 95 SiR which I can't seem to find anywhere except sohc stuff, so should I search instead for 94-95 del sol vtec parts...
anything at all for this engine will fit my engine if i understand correctly then right?

Are you in the United States ? You can easily get a performance clutch online or Autozone, Pep Boys, Kragen, Checker, Napa, etc...
The Del Sol VTEC model. Not the S or Si model, CR-X Del Sol SiR was released in the USA as the Del Sol VTEC.
Here's a list of performances clutches for you:
Centerforce: http://centerforce.com/centerf...=1995
ACT: http://www.act-clutch-shop.com....html
Exedy: http://www.coximport.com/exedy/organic.html
HyperClutch: http://inlinefour.com/hypperstreet.html
Mugen: http://kingmotorsports.com/product.asp?detail=253
Toda: http://kingmotorsports.com/product.asp?product=243
Spoon: http://opakracing.com/Catalog/...x.htm
** Now please find the one you want, so that you don't get flamed for not using the internet search engines or arguing with H-T members about what you have. Good Luck!!!

You shouldn't have to replace a clutch very damned often. Dropping the tranny every 5k to replace the clutch is not my idea of fun.

I've never used the clutches in question. I am however saying that just because it has a lifetime warranty (same reasoning I have in using Autozone axles) doesn't mean I'd want to change my clutch out very often.
