Default finally my tires arrived

jus wanting to show and tell. after 2 months of waiting for the kumho mx tirerack called and told me
the kumho's wont be in out warehouse until year 2004. 2004!!! **** that i cant wait that long, so i
decided to order something else, yokahama avs es 100. had them before and was pleased so got them
again. enough talking here are some pics.

i hope no one deducts my % for this useless thread, or is it useless? haha enjoy.

they are a groovy, tire i love mine. I had the kumho before i got the yoks. and its a big difference

that is the rumor, but i dont know anybody that has tried it yet

hahaha, you kinda have it backwards. using smaller tire in the rear increases traction. im not gonna tell
you why, jus take some physics course and you'll find out.

I got nitto555R in the fronts and es100s int he rear
I paied like 190 for two tres...damnit.
Anyways the rare times my baby sees rain those tires do a great job, especailly when my two fronts are like ice skates

indeed. I run 205/55R14 fronts and 175/65R14 rears all with stiff *** suspension and 23mm ITR rear bar, talk about scary during rain days. rotated it did...

Please, tell us why this is true.

And tell the mass of road racers and autox'ers that stagger tire sizes for exactly the opposite reason you've just stated.

This is from personal experience and many a college physics course:

You air up your rear tires so they're hard as rocks and it makes it easier to kick the rear out in corners, why? Because there's less surface area in contact with the road to produce friction.

Therefore, if you put skinnies on the rear with lots of air in them, they'll create less friction and you'll be more ***-happy. Stiffer springrates in the rear will add to this effect.

i dont know about getting 2 different size s for the front a rear...but the ES 100 are every bit as good as the azeniz s i had on the car previously
