Finally!! I pass the state ref and get my BAR Sticker
After weeks and weeks of trying to figure out why my car wouldnt pass smog, my car is now perfectly legal in the state of CA.
Feels good, especially since I live in Fremont
No more worrying if a cop is gonna pull me over to pop my hood
Turns out the reason it wouldnt pass smog was because of a clogged air filter
I tried replacing the CAT, o2 sensor, spark plugs, and rotor. Even did the HEET trick, and nothing seemed to work. Until finally I took off the filter while pre-testing the car and it passed with flying colors
and here is a cool pic of me jacking up my car with a forklift
im sure glad my dad bought one of these things for his shop (not a car shop)

Do you HAVE to put that on your window? I would be even more worried about theives with a sticker telling them whats inside.

(on the forklift) carefull, carefull.........
as long as you lift up from the jack point, its perfectly safe
and of course i put a jackstand under the fork part before i started working underneath it

congrats....y didnt u jsut make friends with and/or bribe an inspection guy?
the motor was completely stock
so it should of passed no problem
im glad I figured out the problem though
because a clogged air filter cant be good for performance
