i finally got my car. its a white 1993 DX EG with no mods, bone stock. i bought it off a private dealer who was donated the car from the original owner. it was taken care of and is clean in and out. im planning on doing a swap and stripping it for the track. is it hard to remove the rear seat and plastics form the interior or is it easy, and hopws it done right? and is it smart to strip the plastics or if so what should i and shouldnt take out? (dash , center consel, etc....) please hit me back with some advice cuz im a newbie and need it..thanx

Re: finally got my car! (Si.Hatch.92)
i paid 3800 for it and im stoked as ever. i will be usin it for the track and as a daily driver. i want to just tear out the stuff behind the front seats. i hear creaking and it also looks shitty. i like the clean look of a gutted hatch or teg. i need some more advice tho before i just start tearing **** off. thanx..

Nah bud, ur good, just start tearing **** off.. its really simple, just don't force anything off, you should try to keep all ur pieces intact just incase you reconsider.
All u need is a phillips head and a good rachet set.. its mostly 10mms but you'll need something bigger for the seat belt bolts and the hydrolic things that hold up the glass hatch (what are these called again? too many )

Nice. Are you driving it daily. Completely stripped cars aren't for pussies. If you want to be lighter just tear it our, if you have to think about it that much just leave it alone till you have some power to make that wieght reduction worth it.
Stock stripped dx = still slow... and cold in the winter.
Is Marinwood by Northgate? Anyways, good luck.
