Finally getting to A/C....
Well its just to long now with no a/c in SW fla for me... So since im not moving anytime soon I might as well just man up an fix this damn thing... Now if i only knew what was wrong with it lol... I basically trust no a/c shops around here so im relying on pure genius here haha...
1. When I turn the a/c on an let it ride for like 20 minutes the same warm air blows out..
2. When I checked the refridgerent level it was slightly low, an upon refilling it my a/c compressor started making really loud squeaking noises...
3. I checked the belt and everythings firm and tightened into its place..
Does this sound like a bad compressor, if so is it just a simple unbolt old one bolt on new one, charge system, ur done..??

Solution:
Be a manly man, and take it out, less clutter under the hood and save bout 20lbs, lol.
Or.
Make sure the line coming off the compressor is fastened all the way, and that its in good condition. That line can sometimes becomin corroded and leak slowly.

yeah dude i sweat off like 10 lbs in 2 or 3 days doin lawns an **** last summer, haha thats hot
but yeah the clutch doesnt spin all the time, it seems like its clicking on an off an it does make a horrible sound... i heard its easier getting a compressor/clutch assembly than just replacing the clutch.. any info on that one bro??

EBAY has never done me wrong when ordering OEM honda products that people didnt want before, so maybe ill see what kinda luck i have... Unless anyone has a working compressor/clutch assembly for 94+ sohc...

Re: (97Ej6mike)
never really got an answer on how to tell if ur compressors the culprit of no a/c or not though, can anyone help solve this one..??? i dont wanna go buy another compressor if maybe it may sound like i just need to replace the clutch... i was just taught the basics of a/c so i dont really kno what causes issues an whatnot...
again, my compressor just squeaks really loud when i put freon in it, the pressure was good also so i know it wasnt overfilled or anything, an then the air just continues to be warm never gets cold..
