FINALLY DONE.....
Just wanted to post my EK K20 swap
I started the swap on May 2 and finished the swap last weekend on May 24
Here is some of the specs
Drivetrain
K20A2~48k miles
K20A2 tranny (X2M5)
EKK1 mounts (62A)
RBC IM
Accord Throttle Body
Custom Throttle Body Bracket
DC Sport Swap header
HKS Super Mega Flow Filter
Kpro
Karcepts Box
Hybrid Radiator
R-Crew Harness
Comp Clutch stage 2 street disk
PRB Flywheel
As always comment/critques are welcome
My thoughts well since i am running HX wheels with (185/60/14) i am thinking that i am not getting traction in 1st and 2nd gear. Mainly because when i shift the tire do not churp and plus my friend with a K24A4 in his EM1 Si has pulled away from me. I need to get tuned and get exhaust. Hopefully that will remedy my problem or make it worse.

Re: FINALLY DONE..... (BIG T)
When you say you do't think you're getting traction because it doesn't chirp... are the wheels spinning or is it just going with no spinning or chirping?
You know if it doesn't chirp or spin you are getting traction. Chirping is due to a lack of traction, then sudden traction and spinning is due to even less traction.

Re: FINALLY DONE..... (starion88esir)
Well what i am figuring is that i would except the wheels to have enough traction to churp although since i haven't heard/felt it makes me question whether i am getting traction. Also since my friend with a k24 (tuned) in an EM1 has pulled on me it seems as though my idea of now traction may possibly hold.
Hopefully that clearify it a little better.
And for the record i do not quite understand what saying

If you do not have traction, then your tires will be spinning.
If your tires are spinning, you will hear it.
Do you hear your tires spinning?
If you don't hear your tires spinning and the tires aren't chirping, then you ARE getting traction. Traction is when the force applied from the engine through the tires is applied to the road thus moving you forward.
A tire chirping means that you are momentarily losing traction. A tire spinning means you have very little traction.
Does that make more sense?

Re: (PhantoM.DA)
thats a straight sleeper. i like your car a lot. i suggest you carry the theme into a stealthy exhaust set up. maybe you can find some stickier tires to put on the hx's. or just get some rims and put them on when you need that extra traction.
i think you should keep the car the way it is except for the above mentioned. or whatever else your heart pleases
