Finally!!
Alright, well ever since I got a new shift **** from honda...(the titantium ones shaped like a teardrop that cost $80) its looked like crap. The Leather shift boot on my 97 Civic doesnt meet up with teh bottom of the titantium shift ****...so the metal shift lever is exposed and it looks like crap.
Well when I was cleaning my car, I decidecd to put an end to this...so I took apart the center console, and fiddled with trying to get the leather shift boot to stay up on the ****....welli finally found a solution, a hose clamp...ya know the things that tighten when you turn a screw. I put that on the shift lever and adjusted it so that it holds the boot, from underneath up flush with the ****....now it looks good, and no oneos gonna give me shi* about it anymore

Re: Finally!! (kappy)
yea there was a thread on this somewhere lse, I actually used a robitussin cap, drilled a hole thru it and put it on the lever. I pulled the shift boot up and around the cap and it stays up now, and no one can se the cap or anything
