Final post about knocking!! PLEASE READ!
Alright, this is my third post about this knocking, and no results yet. I have tried to figure out the problem and I think I might have. I went out tonight and did everything I could think of, every test to find the problem and this is what I came up with. I can drive along at 5 or 10 with no knock regardless of gear. 3000 in 1st, 2000 in 2nd, barely above 1000 in 3rd, no knock. ITs the same up unitl 30 or 35 MPH, then the knock starts. It knocks at 35 regardless of what gear and/or RPM it is. Now, say I am at 4000 in 3rd gear, it will knock. But, if I put in the clutch and coast, it keeps knocking, even though the RPMS dropped to 800 (idle) where it never knocks. This leads me to beleive its not the engine at all, but something in the drivetrain. I tried every bolt I could find in the engine, they are all tight. Same with the suspension, so I know its not a loose part mofing around. And I know its in the front of the car because it cant be heard from the back seat.
So what could be making this knocking? PLease help, its realy starting to bug/worry me. Thanks.
P.S. This will be the last post, I promise.

Sounds like an axle problem - CV joint[s] or something. Put it up on blocks and try to pinpoint the problem. Run it up to 30 or 35 on the speedo and have someone look and listen, blah, blah, blah...

Thats what I was thinking, I just wanted someone else to say it also. Is there anything this else anyone knows of that could made a noise like this besides the axles?

It's most likely your axle. I had this same problem with my car about 2 weeks ago (swapped my motor 6 months ago and I am already breaking axles ). I heard it knocking, and immediately i knew it was the axle. Does it make a sort of low pitched clunking sound and can you feel vibration in your floor board? I went up to Advanced Autoparts and bought a new axle, put it on in about 10 minutes, and drove around and it was all fixed. If you are hybrid with a VTEC motor, get axles from a GSR or Type R. I hope this info helped out.

my friend had a problem with something knocking, and we had thought it to be an axel. but it was actually a rubber bushing that part of the bracket for the power steering rack. it would generally happen going around a corner, or if he shifted pretty hard. may or may not be your problem, but one more thing to look at when you've got it up on stands.
