My friends say that if i put a fiber glass bumper on, in 7 months tops it will start craking. Is that true? Is there something i can do to prevent this?

Its False. I had the Mugen kit on my first CRX for over a year, it never cracked. Even molded it on when I painted it Champ White.

I agree. I keep hearing that fiberglass cracks after a few months, I had the WW RS style kit on my old CRX for a few years, daily driven, slammed, without any problems. It held up very well to bumps and scrapes, and it actually held it's shape unlike the urethane kits that sagged.
