A few ?s about valve clearances and strut bar installs
I need to prep my car for the slush run in oakland this weekend (SCCA Non-points AutoX) but I need to do a valve adjust and install the cheapo strut bars I bought on Ebay.
First Question: What are the valves clearances on a 92 D16Z6 Intake and Exhaust. And anyone no where I can find a good reference guide for this? I used to do this all the time on my 914 where I would prop up one wheel and rotate the engine around to get all the valves to TDC one at a time.
Second Question: Will I need to drill in order to install my strut bars on a 95 CX? The strut bar I bought does not seem to fit at first glance. Will I need to remove my struts to do this?
Thanks for the help

the strutbar should just bolt onto the top of the strut tower's bolts....i think they are 14mm??...unless it's the kind that bolt into the strut tower pre-drilled holes, then you'lll need new bolts

*edit* Sorry posted the wrong **** (just realized that link doesn't answer your question)... The intake clearance should be between 0.007 and 0.009 inches, and exhaust should be 0.009 to 0.011.

Ok thanks was a bit confused there, but will it matter what the clearance is if I am say stuck in Vtec? ECU isn't hooked up to the Vtec solnoid.

Ahhh, can't really help there! It will affect the clearance, but I haven't dealt with that situation. Anyone?
