few questions about my hatch
1. i might be getting a new cluster with tach and all, how would i go about swapping my odometer out?
2. would i be able to put my lowering springs on without bringing it to a shop, some kids do it in my neighborhood, and was just wanted to know.
3. last question. my side moldings are faded from the sun, when i tried to unscrew the nut that isn't behind the door panel off. it broke off, do you think this is because it is exposed to rain air, and sun? if i take off my door panel, do you think any will break?
thanks alot, i used search but nothing under what i wanted to know.

Re: few questions about my hatch (josups)
You should be able to do the springs. I did mine front was no prob but the rear was a pain. The bushing on the one side was shot could not get the bolt out had to call the junk yard and get a used control arm and strut cost about 50 bucks. Just try to do it when you don't need your car might have to try to find the parts or do it when places are open. Not like me i did mine on sunday. Hope this helps

cut off the shock bolt, get old bushing/shell out, tap in poly ES bushings, slap back together.
The bushing, #8103 is $15 from http://www.suspension.com + shipping. Ordered mine the Friday before Xmas, parts were here the next Friday even with the holiday season.

find somebody that will do it for like 50 bucks- thats how much i charge everybody- dont get ripped off- and make sure they have done it a few times- there is always a new problem everytime i drop a car- and if u never done it- chances are u wont know what to do if something bad happens-- ive dropped cars with all the wheels on- with the shock still bolted to arms all sorts of retarted stuff

its cake.. read a DIY online somewhere and you will get a better understanding on how to do it.. using power tools is a lot easier, its just takes less time and is safer for poping the springs off..
as for the cluster, open it up there are 2 or 3 screws holding the speedo part, its not hard at all to do.. be careful not to break anything tho..
