does ferio just mean sedan? or is it a specific model or something?

i don't think it directly translates to sedan, but ferio was the name given to 92-2000 (i think) civic sedans... not 100% percent sure though....

It's the name used for Japanese 5th and 6th gen Civic sedans. It wasn't used for 4th gens. It might have been used for 7th gens, but I don't have enough information yet.

I wouldn't think it translates to "sedan" or else someone else would be using it besides Honda.

The only cars I see called Ferios by Honda are the following:

EG7
D13B
Civic Ferio EL

EG8
D15B
Civic Ferio MX
Civic Ferio VTi
Civic Ferio ETi

EG9
B16A
Civic Ferio SiR

EH1
ZC
Civic Ferio RTSi
Civic Ferio RTX

EJ3
ZC
Civic Ferio EXi

EK2
D13B
Civic Ferio EL

EK3
D15B
Civic Ferio Mi
Civic Ferio ML
Civic Ferio Vi
(**take note that the Integra SJ EXi/LXi/VXi sedans have this same chassis code and are sold in Japan, but are listed as 4-doors, not Ferios)

EK4
B16A
Civic Ferio Si
Civic Ferio Si-II

EK5
D16A
Civic Ferio RTi

EK8
D16A
Civic Ferio LEV
Civic Ferio LEV-II

It means the guy who told you that is a JDM fan boy... And that he liked your car.

No I didn't. The EH9 (EX sedan here in the US) was never sold in Japan.

This thread is about Ferios, which were sold Japan, not the US.
