The axle is SHORTER on the passenger side because the transmission is offset. Also if its slightly higher on the drivers side your fine because when you sit in it, it will even out. Usually with just springs there will be some difference in ride height at all the corners but done worry about it unless you suspension is worn.

i think he was talkin about how "outward" the wheel looks..

have you tried gettin an alignment and seeing if there is a camber difference?
