Fender Brace for EG

For Track(TURNING).
Has anyone tried Nagisa Auto's Gacchiri Support (Fender Brace) for EGs?

I found a bone stock CLEAN EG CX, and
i plan on doing a lot of HPDE events with it and maybe even some canyon runs (No i did not see FF3).

Ive been to the track with my friends with STis and s13s, and i saw this MEAN EG tearing it up at the track, passing a lot of people..

I remember a write up in sport compact car a while back about some fender braces. They were installed on an EK. I also remember them saying that they noticed a big difference after the install. I have personally never used them but if I find the SCC article, I will link you to it.

Re: (Mr.RHTuner)

you're better off spending that money on a good helmet and entry fees for HPDE's

and please don't go "canyon carving"

yea im gonna go look at the car again..

but. yea i have a good helmet, a full faced Peltor rally helmet, pads for days, and some extra cash..
but im still waiting on that article from the fender support to finalize my decision..

thanks for the feedback guys!

It's not necessary to take your car on the track, and for racing, is probably not allowed per the rules.

I wouldn't bother with it.

Things that you should have for track events:

1.) Helmet
2.) Lots of fluids and Food (ie: gatoraide water and sandwiches etc)
3.) Spare brake pads
4.) Spare Rotors
5.) Brake fluid (DOT 4) search for peoples prefferences
5.) SHADE! SHADE! SHADE!
6.) A place to sleep if you are traveling far

the $200 you could spend on the goofy brace could be better spent on an ez-up, chair, cooler, and food for the weekend. or some good pads and rotors, or even another set of tires and rims for the track.

the brace will not make you fast and pass people.

you as driver getting good instruction and lots of seat time will make you fast.
and if you are well hydrated and comfortable you will be more likely to pay attention and learn how to drive fast.

You can throw all the money in the world at your car and still be slow.

Hell I once beat a lamborghini around the track in my civic.
