i have 95 gsr head on b16a2 block, i got the upper p72 bracket and p54 lower bracket, everything bolts up perfectly. now i need a belt... what belt would i need to buy? i went to checkers and got a 2000 civic si belt so stock b16a2, and thought it would be perfect. it seems like it might be a little to small or maybe it suppose to be like that and i have to be super aggressive to get that on? and everything bolted?

is that the right belt? maybe i should be getting 95 gsr belt? are they the same size? anyone know?

No I won't, read this thread. You need a p72 pump.

So why cant you just use the original power steering pump, brackets, and lines that came w/ the b16 motor??? I'm totally lost now. I am going to be keeping the ac from the d series using a bracket i bought on ebay. Bought a power steering pump with bracket and lines from a b16a so everything should just bolt right on.....right???

If i never had power steering in my ek with b16a. Could i just buy a complete em1 power steering system with lines, pump, and bracket or should i try to find d series line and use del sol or crv bracket? What's the best way to go?

I read this twice & I understand most of it but still need a little clarification. My understanding as of now is that I can use a b series mounting bracket & either my d series pump or get an 99 si pump/belt & Ill be fine, is that correct? Ive got a 2nd gen b16a p30 going in a 98 dx hatch & I just dropped my d series out & Im getting ready to put in the b so everything is there. My questions are,
Do I need a b series rack & pinion?
If I cant or shouldnt use my d series pump, all I need is the 99 si pump & bracket then hook it up to my D series lines & im good to go correct?

Okay. Sorry to beat a dead horse by brining back this thread, but....

I just swapped a sohc motor into a 98 GSR (intentionally) and after custom fabricating the AC lines I am left only with the power steering to figure out. I have both pumps (b and d series). The d series fits the motor and belt perfectly but will not work with the line. The line works perfect with the b series pump but will not mount or accept the belt. Will an EK D series bracket work with the gsr pump?

ok, i need some confirmation here.
i have my system 98 ek running a 98 P72 pump ona B18c.

Cant find an answer to my problem : iwant to use a EM1 PS line on my setup.
i need a new line, mine is so rusted doesnt look really good. I searched online on US and Canadian parts site, it is not the same between the 2(probably the pressure switch) and it is also not the same as DX/EX (canadian Si) civic, i want to do that because it is alot cheaper 512$ vs 129 CA$

anybody know if it would work on my car.

So in a nutshell, my EM1 ps pump along with upper and lower brackets will bolt right up to a P72 GSR correct?

it makes better sense to transfer all this directly to my GSR engine to ensure that the ps line fits the ps pump.

Lastly, if I were to do this, which ps belt am i using EM1 or DC2, I don't think this has been covered.

I am running a ls swap in a ek and I have ls brackets top and bottom same lines and a civic si power steering pump but my pump did not come with a pulley so I added the d16y7 pulley to it and it fits but ok start up there is a screeching noise then it goes away after a couple seconds and when looking at the pulley it has a bit of a wobble. I’m thinking it can be the wrong pulley for it but then I’m not sure what to use if it is.

Looking at a similar setup for my Integra swap. Would like to get a complete swap block that doesn't have me shopping around for different parts
I have my eyes on this swap at the moment: https://jjhengines.com/shop/jdm-hond...gine-for-sale/

I am a novice builder at best. A little confused as to what the upper and lower brackets' fittings and orientation should be. If I were to consider professional help, how much expenses should I be looking at?

Would appreciate any input.
