my car (94 Si hatchback) seems to be heaviest car on earth, i took backseats out, spare tire out, passenger seat out, and had less than 1/4 tank of gas, and it was 2440lb WITHOUT me. I still ran 14.3 at COMMEREC(Shitty track , many people will back me on this) w/ my ITR swap w/ stock exhuast, i have since upgraded to an Apexi WS so maybe that'll drop my time by a 1/10 or so. Weight is the enemy and i am only 110lbs myself, so im guessing thats helping me out perhaps.

Hey, happened to find a 1993 "Civic Coupe & Hatchback" brochure. Want that one too? IM me if you do.

I re-weighed my car last week with my new 91 CRX Si wheels, kumho V700 tires, empty tank, no spare/jack, without me=2251 lbs.

CANADIAN HATCHES:

our CX was basically as follows, DX motor + gas tank + wheels+ exhaust + and no aibags on it till 94 (then only optional dual bags) also all were with manual racks, hardly any tar patches

VX was the same but the air bags came optional in '93 (only one with small gas tank)

our DX came as USDM specs but all had power steering, optional airbag in '93 then in '94 only driver side

Si h-back, same as USDM

now sedan and coupe only difference:
was that our EX sedan came with 1.5l DX motor bascially LX
EX-V was a rare d16z6 equipped sedan (bascially USDM spec EX)

Coupe came in DX and Si (bascially your EX)

Is there anyone who had weighed the back seats, spare, and jack so see how much weight you are removing from the car? I'm trying to decide if it's worth it.

spare and jack-worth it at the track. not worth it to me cuz well, if i get a flat i want to not be stranded
backseat- not worth it to me. all together, i'd say everything weighs like 10 pounds top...i don't like having them out though cuz i can hear everything...even gas in the gas tank...i'd rather keep the seat in..plus i have a very cool EF SiR seat in my EG that's pretty pimp...muahahaha

Yeah boyyyeee SEDAN's ****** **** up!! Rock on!

BTW My 92 sedan w/ no spare tire and a GSR motorswap weighed in at exactly 2400 lbs

1992 Civic 4-door with manual tranny:

DX 4-door: 2275lbs.
LX 4-door: 2319lbs.

Why did I bold the LX 4-door weight?

Because it has power windows, doorlocks, cruise control, power steering, etc. and is STILL lighter than the Si hatchback! So what do you think of the coupes now? If the 4-door is lighter, what about the 2-door coupes?

nice i have a 92 vx with a b18c,full gsr suspension,hx wheels, all a/c components have been removed,no fire wall padding,i have the passenger mirrior, full interior execpt for the head liner, basicly ive taken out everything but teh interior .i have yet to weigh it in its current form but i will post teh results when i do.Also i trust teh info posted abot them but why does my vehicle regitration say my car weighs 2044?or mabe its a type-o for 2094 ?also i have heard teh vx model came with aluminium motor mounts is that true if so they would be lighter than the cx mount wouldnt they ?
