fan is not coming on after swap!
I checked the fuses replaced the relay. The fan is not coming on after i did the swap its a d15b bottom end with a z6 head. I put coolant in the system started the car up and now the fan isnt kicking on. I plugged my d16y8 ecu in instead of my p28 would that have something to do with it? Should i just switch back to the p28? Its a 97 honda hatch dx.
There there a ground on the body that controls this somewhere?

The fastest thing to diagnose the problem would be just jump the fan switch. That more than likely the problem since you changed it when you swapped heads. Just take a paper clip or a piece of wire and stick it in the plug to jump the pin. If the fan kicks on theres your problem. Instead of rigging the fan. do it the right way.

Re: fan is not coming on after swap!
well thats to check if the fan is working. But before you do that you need to run a test to see if power is going to your fan. Take a paper clip and unplug your fan plug sensor (the brown one) then take the paper clip and stick it into the fan sensor plug for both pin ends so that it loops itself. Then go to your car and turn the key on the on position. Does it spin? If not then it may just be your fan not working. Which means you can do the first test of sending power straight to the battery. But before you do that, check the interior fuse underneath your steering wheel. I believe its the heater relay fuse or something like that. Make sure its not popped and then check every other fuse down there to see that they are all good..

That fuse was good i was looking for the brown connector on the fan but i dont have anything like that . I have one connector on my car and it plugs in the fan to the harness its grey.

both are good Oh and with the dizzy theard i had a couple days ago my dizzy was bad went and bought one and that problem is now fixed. Maybe something shorted out of my electrical components? The fuses are good i checked both of them last night.

Remove the radiator fan relay from the hood fuse box. In the receptacle for the removed relay in the hood fuse box, jump terminal 1 to terminal 2 (see lower diagram for reference). Does the fan now run?
Do you have a digital multimeter?
