Falken tire RT-615 pros and cons???
http://www.falkentire.com/615micro.htm
thinking about buying a set of 4. its around $360-380 but from what i read they sound great. just wondering what other people have heard or if you actually have some tell me how they are. do they wear fast? stick real good when accelerating?.. etc...
btw 205/50/15 will be the perfect size on a rota slipstream 15x7 4x100 right? just double checking because im buying rims and tires seperate

Falken tires are great. I use them and dont really have to change
them that often. Actually my rear tires haven't been changed for
over 2 years now and are still in good condition.

Re: (central_driver)
it all depends on how you drive...if you daily drive like you do at the track...then yes they are going to wear pretty quickly...a friend of mine used to waste the azenis at almost 10k miles...but now hes cooled down his driving and gets get mileage on his new tires...

Yes, they will. That being said they are excellent tires that grip very well. 10k seems about right with some track driving and maybe 15-20k if you dont track it and drive easy (but then whats the point of getting awsome tires if you dont use them to their full potential).
As for your sizes both 195/55/15 and 205/50/15 will work on a 15x7 rim. I have heard that the Azenis are a bit oversized though and that the 205 width RT-615 is more like a 215 width of a normal tire.
So yes they are good tires but they wear fairly quickly.

Re: (Slow EJ8)
I've been driving on the 615's since last May. They are on my DD, and tread is starting to get low now, but they still have at least another 5,000 miles in them. I drive like a grandma during the week, but I beat on my car pretty hard on the weekends. The 615 is a good tire, but they are noisier than I would like on the highway.
